Around the Ranch
All of our fruit and nuts are grown for you either on our ranches or by
local growers. Because of this very important
aspect of our company culture we have developed this "around the ranch" web page. During harvest you will be able to come back to this page and see just how we get our product into your home
.
Below are updates on each of our crops.

Another cherry harvest complete, whew! After fifteen
years farming with my husband and growing-up with my parents farming
cherries, regardless if it is fifteen or fifty, the harvest never gets any
less stressful. All I can say is it is fast and furious. We
personally had a fine year. For that, we are so thankful and
appreciative to our good Lord above.

We No longer have Fuji Apples
Unfortunately, due to
the poor market conditions for California Fuji Apples, we removed our
trees in the Fall of 2004. In the Spring of 2005, we planted Royal Rainier Cherries to meet the growing demand of these
scrumptious white cherries.
In farming, you have to keep competitive. We were hopeful to
keep the Fuji's "just one more year", but we had to make a business
decision. Farmers, in general, are one of the most faithful groups
of people around.

With the 2008 walnut
season upon us, we are blazing new paths once again. We have
installed a walnut cracking facility which cracks and sorts walnuts from
their shells. The walnut meats are then packaged into 25# boxes for
shipment nationwide and also world wide. By next year, we hope to
have our walnuts available in 1# and 2# bags.
